Durante la misión del lanzamiento de un satélite, tres astronautas toman contacto con un O.V.N.I. El satélite colisiona contra él y éste desaparece tras una explosión. Gravemente dañado aterriza al suroeste de los Estados unidos en donde es recogido y trasladado por el gobierno a una oculta base aérea, en el hangar 18. El gobierno quiere mantener en secreto el hallazgo pero los astronautas comienzan a investigar lo sucedido. Nadie sabe nada al respecto.

    Definitely on the "B-side" of Hollywood. It's worth a single sitting and watching just out of curiosity. It has a story that could be better told, even without high-tech effects, maybe in the format of a short series as an investigative thriller.

    Amazing! If you grew up on Michael Bay movies, you probably lack the mental ability to keep attention. But if you can get into a great political thriller, with semi philosophy thoughts and ideas, you're in for a treat. Megadeth was right!

    Just a good old fashioned thriller. Well made and acted . Robert Vaughan makes a fine Villain and Darren McGavin is always good. Presents an interesting take on the UFO story. It could be true a little bit more than you think.
