I find that to be it's main problem, because it does fail miserably filling those shoes, and truth be told, those are damn big shoes. It does have its moments, I'll say, and pretty good ones, at that. But these and the unnecessarily long and dull ones cancel each other out, leaving amn overall meh feeling. The main cast (Pfeiffer, Caulfield, Zmed) was pretty good and there were some good and decent performances as far as the acting went. The singing was mostly subpar, in my opinion. Not bad, again, just not everyone can be Travolta or Newton-John.
