Héroes fuera de órbita Ratings & Reviews
- tellum10 de marzo de 2026A perfect parody of trekkie culture.
- prosewall8 de marzo de 2025Prepare to be surprised by the warmth, depth and comic genius of this film with an outstanding must see comedic performance from Alan Rickmann with his impeccable timing and iconic dry delivery. Beginning from a cheesy star trek wannabe tv show series that is appalling in its banality and lack of originality, the flawed and disfunctional actors are recruited by a high technology but socially inept alien race to save their planet from ugly nasty bullies. In the process they rediscover themselves and overcome their failings to become unlikely heroes. I've been rewatching this film for years. My initial viewing had zero expectations but blew me away with its combination of quirky science fiction, terrific actors, taking the p!$$ out of zany science fiction story lines, and warm interactions between the flawed characters. At the time it was a small release, and did not garner much attention, but over the years has been seeing a groundswell of cult following and expanding audience. I rewatch this movie at least once a year, and I always find myself with a smile on my face, warmth in my heart, and my spirits lifted. Classic.
- Einie30 de enero de 2026Nostalgia got me 😁
- kVOD.2 | https://linktr.ee/xszr19 de enero de 2026legendary classic, different approach of space expedition movie. never give up, never surrender
- sam.542 de febrero de 2025Some classic 90s Tim Allen gruffness. Cast is great all around as distillations of classic Star Trek cast members. Tony Schalub is a goofy dork Scotty, Sam Rockwell plays a great red shirt, Sigourney Weaver is beautiful and funny Uhura, and Alan Rickman plays a hilarious take on Spock and also himself. And also a young Justin Long to boot as a superfan nerd! Writing is tight, humor is charming, and visuals for 1999 are pretty dang good! I might have some bias for seeing this as a 10 year old, but I find the overall feel of these 90s comedies to be a cut above what's coming out these days. Nothing game changing here, but it's hard not to leave with a smile on your face.
- Pokit the phox17 de agosto de 2025The only hope for the thermians is Tim allen...and he's not much help. But with the help of his crew they can save the galaxy... quest! Fun and campy, spoof on star trek with lots of quotes. Never give up, never surrender. 4 tail wags.
- HaHaHarvey448 de mayo de 2025Galaxy Quest, the sci-fi parody that somehow managed to be funnier, smarter, and more heartfelt than half the actual Star Trek movies it was spoofing. Released back in 1999, back when Hollywood still remembered what jokes were, this film managed to avoid the usual death trap of parody movies: namely, being a cringe-fest of in-jokes and desperate pop culture references. So what do you get with Galaxy Quest? Tim Allen pretending he's a serious actor (which is hilarious in and of itself), Sigourney Weaver being criminally underused, and Alan Rickman delivering Shakespearean-level disdain while wearing a rubber forehead. It’s like watching Mr. Spock go through a midlife crisis at a Comic-Con booth. But shockingly… it works. Yeah, I said it. The plot is absurd, the characters are ridiculous, and the premise is a joke, but that’s the l point. And unlike modern “meta” comedies that wink so hard at the audience they develop a twitch, Galaxy Quest actually respects its audience and the genre it’s mocking. Which is probably why it’s aged better than half the CGI vomit fests we get today. So yeah, it’s a miracle. A parody that’s actually good. Maybe Hollywood should try watching it again, assuming they’re not too busy ruining another 80s franchise reboot.
- Chilsberg31 de diciembre de 2025This was just a good time.
- Ben29 de diciembre de 2025by Grabthar's hammer... ...what a movie
- viktorsmi21 de diciembre de 2025A love letter to all Star Trek fans. Not groundbreaking, but very enjoyable nonetheless. A must have on any Star Trek movie watchlist.
- meierthered15 de diciembre de 2025I was surprised at how well the special effects hold up for this movie, for the time it looked amazing, and I still think it does especially the wonderful practical effects. Tony Shallhoub's character Fred Kwan still steals every scene he is in.
- Jason Blackthorn26 de noviembre de 2025One of the best Star Trek films. Respectful of the source material and just tremendous fun, incredibly well scripted and paced, with a fantastic cast. Well worth watching.
- maub1725 de noviembre de 2025I thought it was meant just as a Star Trek comic parody, but it turned out to be a great tribute. Wonderful movie! It was a solid tribute to the series, the characters, and specially the fans. Loved it.
- Rick G16 de octubre de 2025The best nerd movie ever I highly recommend everything about it
- Richard5 de octubre de 2025I first saw it on import DVD and it felt like smuggling in a cult classic before the rest of Europe caught on. Back then, getting your hands on a import DVD was a mission. Region codes, NTSC vs PAL, subtitle quirks, it was like decoding alien tech just to watch a movie. Galaxy Quest was worth every workaround. It wasn’t just a parody, it was a love letter to sci-fi fandom, delivered with wit, warmth and a cast that knew exactly how to play it. It wasn’t just a spoof, it was smarter than half the actual Star Trek films it lovingly mocked. And owning it early, before it hit local shelves, made it feel like a secret handshake among genre fans. You didn’t just watch Galaxy Quest, you got it. “Never give up, never surrender” wasn’t just a catchphrase, it was a motto for anyone who hunted down region locked discs to find the good stuff.
