Russell and Berry sparkle as compelling leads, with Joe Morton and Platt playing charismatic secondaries that make the most of a propagandistic plot. As a bonus, it's kind of hilarious what this film does to Seagal.

Killing off a certain actor early was a good call, honestly, because he wasn’t bringing much to the table. It’s fun enough for a one-time watch, but nothing you’ll remember
