- Zokkiiehace 5 dThis is just pure chaos in the best possible way. It takes everything that made the original fun and cranks the insanity up to another level. The mix of horror, comedy, and ridiculous practical effects is basically perfect, and Bruce Campbell completely owns the movie with one of the most entertaining performances in the genre. The creativity on display is what makes it stand out. The camera work, effects, makeup, and over-the-top energy make every scene feel like someone had a crazy idea and actually went for it. It’s goofy, violent, creepy, and hilarious all at once. Not many movies can balance that tone, but this one absolutely nails it. A perfect cult classic.

Man I just love the look of practical effects so much more than CGI horror and Evil Dead II is chock-full from start to finish. Bruce Campbell is note perfect in every scene. I have no notes. Wish they still made movies like this. Luckily for me, I still have more blind spots to fill in.
