A rare miss and major commercial failure for director Ron Howard "Eden" is nothing more than a lousy old time TV movie of the week, that's a total waste of time and money. The question is how this lousy \ disaster was ever given a green light???

Well paced slow burn. Entertaining drama.

Actually a good movie based on true events. Great cast and excellent acting.

Crazy intensity. Hard to believe it's based on a true story but it's from Ron Howard so it's a very well done film. All of the leads are perfect. Both Sydney Sweeney and Ana de Armas really prove they are capable actresses here. Jude Law is stunning and over the top. Still not sure what I watched... like I said, crazy.

Okay, the film is drawn with thick, bold lines, and the acting is a bit exaggerated at times, but it gives an interesting picture of a micro-society, human behaviour and characters: when the food runs out, there is no room for philosophy. There is tension, and it is enjoyable to watch.

A hot dang mess of a movie. Some actors are the same in every role...

Crafted with Care and Genuine Intent "Eden" is an ambitious survival drama that leans heavily on atmosphere, performance, and technical craft. Ron Howard's direction is confident and controlled, delivering a film that looks and sounds consistently impressive, even when the narrative doesn't fully capitalize on its potential. The locations and cinematography are a major strength, capturing both the beauty and hostility of isolation with striking imagery. The score is well placed and effective, supporting the tension without overwhelming it. Performances are solid across the board, with Jude Law anchoring the film convincingly and strong contributions from the ensemble, who bring credibility and emotional weight to their roles. Where "Eden" stumbles is in its pacing and narrative focus. Some stretches feel longer than necessary, slightly diluting the tension and impact of the story. The film is engaging, but it never quite reaches the intensity or emotional payoff its premise suggests. Overall, "Eden" is a well-crafted and engaging film that works more on a technical and atmospheric level than a narrative one. It's a solid watch, elevated by its execution, even if it falls short of being truly gripping from start to finish.

Gritty Drama, set in Galapagos beautiful scenery. Great plot based on true events, depicts the harsh reality of isolated off grid living in that time, and the human elements of all of the settlers, as they try to deal with one another. I enjoyed the directing choices of Howard. Strong acting performances from most, only felt De Armas character could have been a bit more subtle in her selfish conceitedness it could have drawn a lot from more layers and less bluntness. I thought Sydney Sweeney was excellent, and her role was cast perfectly. All in all, i liked this movie. i will rate this 7.7/10

Absolutely boring. 30 minutes worth of exposition, with no idea what drives any of these people. 45 minutes and I was done.x didn’t finish.

    Better than expected

It was ok, kind of had a dumb ending but it was a true story.

Everyone brought their A game, especially Jude Law and Ana de Armas. The story moved a little slow, but that's to be expected for a film based on a true story.

Very good drama. Not very common these days.

Oh wow. Tough to watch in parts, and doesn't end where films usually end - and then you find it's based on a true story/scandal. Acting is superb, and it's hard not to pick sides.

Interesting storyline all actors played depth in parts. Definitely worth a watch.
