The twin brother concept gives Jean-Claude Van Damme the chance to show two completely different personalities, and he absolutely delivers. The fight scenes are intense, the one liners are classic, and the 90s action atmosphere is unbeatable. It’s over-the-top in the best possible way fast, entertaining, and packed with nostalgia. A must watch for fans of classic action movies.

JCVD brings the charisma in spades and does a decent job of creating two distinctive characters despite his limited acting abilities. Great action with a lot of variety. An epic showdown fight with Bolo is amazing. The slo-mo, thankfully being real slo-mo and not the fake choppy stuff, looks fantastic with the punches and kicks landing. Overall this flick is stylish with its look and feel and a good time in a 80/90s action bmovie kinda way. And while like most JVCD flicks, it’s fun to laugh at, at times, this one also kicks a lotta ass. The double JCVD worked so well for this flick they tried the gimmick in like 3 other movies.
