Django Ratings & Reviews

A very good film overall. It seemed as though there were parts missing, however. France and Germany during World War II provided an almost impossible backdrop for he, his music, family and friends to survive.

While the film was probably an accurate portrayal of a very interesting and influential musician, it was pretty boring to watch. Other bionics like Walk the Line and Tina Turner's story were presented in a much more interesting way. Having said that, I found the film educational and glad I made the effort to stay with it but it was hard work.
