- jackmeat14 de julio de 2025My quick rating - 6.0/10. Aside from the sharks conveniently getting smaller to fit into areas such as hallways, and then being far larger in other scenes, this is a surprisingly good sci-fi action flick.

I only love Steven Spielbergs 1975 masterpiece Jaws more than Deep Blue Sea Yes the whole concept to Deep Blue Sea is ridiculous.... with the sharks being the cure to Alzheimers and they've become so intelligent that there deliberately flooding the whole facility to ultimately get themselves into the Deep Blue Sea However putting the concept of it aside.... this is a damn good shark movie, that has some very memorable moments, great action sequences throughout and has a cast of characters that are all memorable & standout in there own ways.... also Deep Blue Sea is brilliantly paced and is very watchable, enjoyable & quite suspenseful all the way through as well. Everytime I rewatch Deep Blue Sea I always have a lot of nostalgia for it.... I grew up with this movie, which is one of my main reasons why I love it and am going to give it a very high rating.... so my ratings for Deep Blue Sea is a 4.5/5 🌟 Stars & a 8.5/10
- lewism51 de enero de 2026It's fun and entertaining throughout, better than I remember it although the CGI hasn't aged well I think it's all part of the charm. It's an interesting premise even though the plot is full of holes.

- Mister Arn24 de mayo de 2025"Deep Blue Sea" has its moment of glory when Samuel L. Jackson meets his unexpected fate mid-speech, yet that single highlight demands sifting through much of the film. The plot thickens with the notion that the sharks possess an almost strategic understanding of the facility's layout, systematically orchestrating its downfall to bypass a fence. Such a premise stretched the bounds of believability a bit too far for my taste.

Watched it many times back then and throw it on every couple of years to give me the good ol nostalgia feels. When I got the news Arrow was releasing a 4K collectors edition I hit a preorder on that sucker right away. An awesome package and a great video and audio presentation plus boat loads of extras made this physical media collector a happy man, highly recommended for fans. 👍👍 8/10
