A fascinating, deeply American film. The most Intensely immersive and difficult documentary I’ve seen thus far. The freedom tunnel in the late 90s in an incredibly thing to capture on film. Excellent framing, sound design and soundtrack as well. The detached, discordant filming style attaches itself well to its subject matter. Mandatory viewing for anyone remotely interested in human empathy.

Could be one of the best documentaries I have ever seen
