- Kevin Ward5 de octubre de 2025I didn’t look at the production date of this movie before I started watching. The aesthetic made it feel like an early 90’s slasher. So I was kind of thrown when they directly referenced Scream (1996). It opens with a crew shooting a horror film called Hot Blooded, only for their killer to turn real and murder the cast. Years later, film students resurrect the cursed footage to finish the movie….and the killings resume. It leans into the post-Scream wave of self-aware horror but it isn’t nearly as meta as that suggests. Not much to write home about though…Aussie accents and Molly Ringwald, maybe.
