I was firmly unaware of the heatwave in 1995. But I am aware of how segregated the city of Chicago is. Additionally, this coming out in 2019 and watching it now? With the hindsight of covid, this documentary packs an even bigger punch. People are needlessly dying in Cook County, for no better reason than racism.
