Entre ellas está una mujer que conserva la vista, pero lo mantiene en secreto para poder acompañar a su marido, que se ha quedado ciego. Dentro del hospital se impone la ley del más fuerte, lo que dará lugar a todo tipo de atrocidades. Mientras tanto, el caos y el terror dominan las calles. Adaptación de la novela "Ensayo sobre la ceguera", del Premio Nobel portugués José Saramago.

- ርልዪረ27 de enero de 2025This is an awful film. Arty, clever folk will tell you it's a masterpiece but they are just trying to appear smarter than you. The big question never answered in the film is WHY? But it's not just one question: Why is everyone blinded? Why does the girl never go blind? Why does she go ahead with being raped despite the fact she doesn't need to? Why does everyone's sight come back? Why was everyone locked up with no food? This film was a poor attempt at something that Death of Grass, Day of the Triffids, 28 Days Later etc do so much better. The book may be great and may explain all of the above, but the film is dreadful.
- gnrrain29 de octubre de 2025Pretty good insight into the degradation of people devolving into chaos as rules go out the window and selfishness begins to be the number one motivating factor. Fear and the response to it are full on display. It shows what we are as a species when put back into our baselines.
