⭐⭐⭐ – Attack of the Meth Gator – Low-rent mayhem with just enough bite. Riding the wave kicked off by Cocaine Bear, Attack of the Meth Gator is one of many chemically-enhanced creature features to follow, but it lands closer to the top of that particular sludge pile. That’s faint praise, admittedly, but it does manage to be more coherent and watchable than most of its peers. The film at least tries to build a narrative around its absurd premise, rather than relying purely on shock value and memes. The CGI gator is surprisingly serviceable for this tier of movie, often outshining the human performances, which never quite rise to match the digital star. Still, the commitment to the concept goes a long way — this isn’t a film embarrassed by what it is. It’s silly, disposable, and knowingly ridiculous, but if you’re in the mood for modern creature-feature schlock, this is one of the better oncers to come out of the post–Cocaine Bear boom. Pairing 🥤: A cheap bourbon and cola — rough around the edges, unapologetically lowbrow, and best enjoyed without thinking too hard about what’s actually in the glass.

"Attack of the Meth Gator" makes an effort to weave a narrative around its chemically altered alligator, though the performances don't quite reach the level of its computer-generated imagery.

First of all i usually stay away from the terribly cheesy cgi filled asylum movies. But i did enjoy cocaine bear and the trailer was amusing so i gave it a shot. MISTAKES WERE MADE! Between the alligator apparently being part dog, part boar, part kangaroo, and the awful acting not to mention how many times it needed subtitles to know what they were saying... Just don't. Literally watch anything else. I would recommend a seminar on the fascinating world of the human rectum, or maybe a documentory about the mating habits of furries. ANYTHING ELSE!
