Un asteroide del tamaño del estado de Texas apunta directamente hacia la Tierra. En la NASA, tan sólo encuentran una posible solución: enviar a un equipo de astronautas al espacio para que destruya el meteorito antes de que colisione con nuestro planeta. Para ello recurren a Harry S. Stamper, el mayor experto en perforaciones petrolíferas, y a su cualificado equipo de perforadores, para que aterricen en la superficie del asteroide, lo perforen e introduzcan un dispositivo nuclear que al estallar consiga desviar su trayectoria y poder salvar el planeta, evitando así el armagedón.

- carter288216 de enero de 2026Armageddon is a fun but disappointing Sci-fi adventure film. Now some of the visuals, practical effects, and green screening have aged well, well some of it has not. The performances are great in here, with our beloved actors playing likeable characters. The soundtrack is also pretty decent. Everything else tho is pretty messy. The dialogue is very messy and cheesy and can ruin some serious moments. The movie also gets really ridiculous and over the top. Other than that the movie is still pretty decent. So overall it’s a good film that’s enjoyable, but a messy film with some big flaws.

This movie is a must see, It grasped my attention from start to end, and never failed to keep me on the edge of my seat. It's a great movie and I think if you hadn't already seen it you should.

Coming up with a plan they recruit a team of oilrig workers to land on the meteor and blow it up before it reaches Earth and destroys all life on the planet. One of director Michael Bay's early films, this is a cheesy, ridiculous film that you can't take seriously for a second yet also a lot of fun with Bruce Willis in good form and a good supporting cast including Ben Affleck, Liv Tyler, Steve Buscemi, Billy Bob Thornton, Michael Clarke Duncan, Owen Wilson and Will Patton all playing it completely tongue in cheek. Spectacular action and effects and looks stunning on bluray too. One of Michael Bay's best films.
