I think people forget that not every movie is supposed to be a poignant, thought provoking, 10/10 spectacle. This movie was fun - as the non-pretentious movie-goer understands that most movies are meant to be fun. It has a fun soundtrack, doesn't take itself too seriously, and reaches to be a cheeky/breezy ride. People; relax. Eat some popcorn. Laugh at the funny bits, roll your eyes in good nature - and stop pretending anyone holds your review with baited breath. Live a little.

Cute, fun movie. Bryce and Sam are great. Fab cast. Interesting story. Action rom-com like Rockwell's Mr. Nice Guy

What a great movie this was and a good twist in it on how she knew everything. But I think they could of made this in a franchise

Very poor, considering the cast. Not clever enough to be Knives Out, and not fun enough to be Bullet Train. This is one you can safely miss as the only memory you'll keep is Henry Cavill's haircut.

Several well defined acts. An entertaining spy movie with some interesting twists.

This was dangerously close to a good bad movie. Cut out 45 minutes and a few of the (ugh) "twists" and give me a call back. Missed opportunity: to have Henry Cavill kiss John Cena.

I have not read any reviews. Yet I can definitely sense the negative energy surrounding this film. Some of it’s understandable. I intentionally try to never watch trailers and somehow even I feel like I’ve seen this trailer a bazillion times, and there’s a lot of aspects of the marketing that feel a little bait and switch-y from the poster, to the book tie in. I would not even be surprised if it’s the marketing department themselves that started the rumor that Taylor Swift is secretly the author of the book. All that being said, I had a really good time watching this. First and foremost, I loved Bryce Dallas Howard and Sam Rockwell. Howard is delightful and charming, and I loved seeing her truly lead a big budget action thriller. Rockwell is always hilarious in my book. He always has this wild and unpredictable energy on screen that makes him magnetic to watch. The story and action are a massive mixed bag. Twists upon twists upon twists can sometimes make character motivations really seem nonsensical by the end. And the CGI is …… let’s say…..not very good. BUT I was willing to look past most of the suspect visuals because of the film knows not to take itself too seriously. The skating on oil and the smoke ballet are ludicrous, but I found them to be both creatively conceived and really fun in execution. I can admit that the runtime was waaay too long and Henry Cavill’s haircut may give me nightmares, but I really enjoyed this and I actually hope we get more regardless of whatever those credit sequences mean. Plus, my kids really enjoyed it which usually warrants some additional grace from me.

This was an entertaining and somewhat comedic spy movie that just sort of lost me when it went full over the top towards the end.

No, this is not a masterpiece, but if you just wanna have fun and enjoy a movie where you don't have to feel like you're in film study and need to analyze every single scene, then you will have a good time with this movie.

Most of the scenes are so cringey

Not bad. Enjoyed it for the most part. Expect silly and you won't be offended. I can tell by others reviews they did not go in that way. When I heard it was same guy as Kingsman I knew what to expect. 7/10

Tries to be as smart as Knives Out and as action packed as Bullet Train. Fails on both accounts, but an ok background / couch movie
