While it lacks some of the charm and heart of the first film the performances and direction are strong throughout and the characters come off as having been hardened by the intervening years. It's a different movie to be sure, but a bad one.

But honestly, it still has its moments. The chemistry between the leads is fun, and there’s enough action and comedy to keep you entertained. It's kind of underrated in my opinion—if you liked the first one, you’ll probably enjoy this, but it doesn’t quite live up to the original’s spark.
