- pjljr24 de mayo de 2025This movie was a favorite when I was growing up. in This movie was one among other movies in this genre where the gangster was put up as a hero but then later the he is captured and punished either through execution by the state, by a shoot out with police, or at the hands of fellow outlaws. James Cagney makes his fortune through illegal and violent means and later is executed by the state. This movie is very dated having been produced during the 1930s. Other stars such as Humphrey Bogart helps to bring the main character to the forefront and a hero in the eyes of juvenile delinquents. Lots of gunplay and scenes of illegal activity are very tame compared to today’s films of this nature.
