They truly do not make this kind of stuff anymore. Mamoru Oshii proved early on in his career that he was and is one of the greatest pioneering minds of anime in the same vein as Hideaki Anno and Hayao Miyazaki. Watch the 4k remaster when it releases! I know I will.
- Trickermand5 de septiembre de 2025Above all, this movie is an art piece. Not in the pretentious "this movie is art" way, but in the sense that it's like staring at a panting for 1h20m. This movie is boring. No, really, it's /boring/. But that doesn't mean it's not worth watching, I loved it, but keeping focus is hard, and focus should be kept. Don't watch this if you can't commit to being bored for the duration, because then you will get nothing from it. Do watch it in place of going to a museum today, and have an experience.
