Huub Stapel was nice, but the effects and the (lack of a) story are cringe-inducingly bad. There is never a moment of tension and all nostaliga is overboard (!). Besides shoving meat substitutes down your throat there is one other similarity Amsterdamned has with the city of Amsterdam: Once appealing and great, now utter garbage with a lack of identity.... and it will probably never recover from it.
