- yves-carmine2 de marzo de 2025I sincerely believe that the "critics" who were responsible for the bad reviews of this movie are suffering from an inferiority complex of sorts, simply because they couldn't understand the brilliance and artistry of this film. Not only is this movies storytelling not confusing in the slightest as they claim, it is both beautifully whimsical, and eccentric. The musical accompaniment and power hitting cast made this wonderful comedy-esque mystery a complete joy to watch from start to end, and a SPECTACULAR end, I might add. I would absolutely consider this a must watch, to any and everyone who enjoys cinema.

I will give into some of the criticism and admit that the plot is a little convoluted but I think that is due to the modern day attention span. Its a wonderful story of love and friendship while also incorporating real world/American history. The plot for a corporate take over of American and the installation of a dictator was foiled back in 1933, but if you look at today's modern American you realize that these same type of men never stopped plotting. Eventually they succeeded in taking away the will of the people. No we don't have an outright dictator but big business chooses who wins in our political landscape.
