Air Force One (El avión del presidente) Ratings & Reviews
- mickerdoo25 de junio de 2025Presidential Die Hard on a plane. Scenario was well thought out and goes places you don't think it will.
- silentlord28 de diciembre de 2025There's nothing extraordinary about this movie. But, despite that, it's a great movie. Two thumbs up.

- ርልዪረ26 de enero de 2025Harrison Ford plays the president who boards his luxury jet, Air Force One, expecting a routine flight back to DC watching the game on tv. But that all goes out of the window the moment Gary Oldman (who delivers an awesome performance) pulls out some guns and hijacks the plane. The action starts within the first fifteen minutes and from then on its a constant game of cat and mouse in which Ford, who plays the POTUS brilliantly, attempts to save his family and all those on board from Oldman and his friends who want to release a terrorist from prison. The supporting cast is rife with talent: Glenn Close as the VP, Paul Guilfoyle, William H Macy, Wendy Crewson all deliver top performances. Wolfgang Petersen, though not the most unique or innovative of directors directs the film well and delivers tension and action in equal measures. The script is slick and well written and for two hours the pace doesn't slow. Overall, air force one is a brilliantly acted, tense, action packed thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat. - Callum19 de diciembre de 2025⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Air Force One — Get Off My Plane Energy, Done Right Air Force One is one of those ’90s action films that just refuses to age badly. After Harrison Ford’s grounded, thoughtful turn as Jack Ryan, he was the perfect fit to play a US President who isn’t just symbolic authority but an active participant — someone willing to fight, bleed, and improvise when everything goes sideways at 30,000 feet. What really sells it is that Ford brings restraint and decency to a role that could’ve easily slipped into cartoon patriotism. This isn’t flag-waving bravado for its own sake; it’s weary competence under pressure. You believe this is a man who understands the weight of his position, and that makes the action land harder when it kicks off. Gary Oldman is excellent as the villain — intense, controlled, and threatening without chewing the scenery. The confined setting of the plane keeps the tension tight, and the action still feels surprisingly practical by modern standards. There’s a reason this film seemed to be on television constantly in the late ’90s and early 2000s: whenever it was on, you stopped channel-surfing and watched. Yes, it’s fantastical. Yes, it stretches plausibility. But it understands exactly what it is — an old-school political action thriller built around character, tension, and clean set-pieces rather than noise and excess. That confidence is why it remains so rewatchable decades later. Not high art, but absolutely a benchmark for how this kind of movie should be done. 🥃 Pairing: A straight bourbon — classic, no nonsense, and best enjoyed knowing exactly what you’re getting before you take the first sip.

- flavo4322 de noviembre de 2025Air Force One is one of those ’90s action movies that never seems to get old. After Harrison Ford’s grounded turn as Jack Ryan, he was the perfect choice to play a tough, principled U.S. President who literally fights for his family and country mid-hijacking. He brings real gravitas and weary decency to a role that could’ve been pure cartoon patriotism, making every punch and speech land that much harder. It must have been a good movie, because when I lived in Virginia over twenty years ago it felt like it was on TV every single day—free-to-air and cable. And whenever it was on, I always stopped to watch. The mix of claustrophobic airplane tension, Gary Oldman’s intense villain, and clean, practical-feeling action beats makes it incredibly rewatchable. Air Force One may be fantastical, but it’s still a textbook example of how to do old-school political action right.
- Garlicbreath19 de septiembre de 2025Awesome movie!
- gosso855 de septiembre de 2025Classic, it’s Temu Die Hard on a plane but still a great popcorn flick! Worth a gander for sure
- Peter Bickford5 de marzo de 2025A fundamentally silly movie, featuring the debut of "gruff old man" Harrison Ford and an improbable series of urbane terrorists led by the sadly under-used Gary Oldman. Nothing about this film was believable in the 90s, and everything from the plotting to the SFX has grown even creakier on a re-viewing decades later.
