The plot feels thin, and the action sequences, where endless waves of gun-toting bad guys fall easily, are more amusing than intense. The lack of depth and over-the-top battles leave the film feeling unintentionally comedic rather than thrilling. While it tries to deliver on its premise, it ultimately fails to create a compelling post-apocalyptic showdown.
