- DTSaito4 de abril de 2026Different than the first one but for sure worth the watch. Impressive special FX
- Seabee4uu21 de marzo de 2026The story of a bunch of people behaving erratically, making nonsensical decisions and taking idiotic risks. Unless you're a big fan of the franchise this one is not worth it, which is a shame for the pretty good cast. The script is clunky, rickety at best. Also the music is annoyingly repetitive.
- Muhammad Salman6 de marzo de 2026"Yo what if we put all the dumbest mfs in one movie" Opening scene was great tho, and that night vision scene in the subway was really creepy. And yeah the score is great too but it's literally the same score from the previous movie.
- Chris21 de febrero de 2026Was enjoyable, plot and story seemed dumb but was still entertaining to watch.
- Razorbitz22 de febrero de 2025A whelming sequel that has a lot going for it but is ultimately ruined by the worst duo of children to ever grace horror cinema. Rare is it that I sincerely wish for children to die in a movie, but those little freaks are directly responsible for every single atrocity that occurs from the moment they get on their bike and escape the quarantine zone--and yet the film itself never once treats them as anything other than the most important people in the entire universe because they are innocent children who do no wrong. Unfortunately karma never catches up to them, but the rest of the film has some great scenes that almost make up for the horrid plot contrivences that allowed them in the first place.
- rg940024 de junio de 2025I jumped straight into this movie after finishing 28 Days Later, and it is a jarring experience. The low-fi cinematography is completely gone, but the soundtrack remains excellent. The plot shifts away from a survival story to more of a military action flick, almost like the shift from Alien to Aliens. There is also an attempt to build more lore, though I wouldn't say it really does all that much. I think this movie starts out incredibly strong. The opening scene is far better than that of the first movie, and the first half is going in some interesting directions that are really focused on family dynamics. However, a little bit before halfway, this movie just shifts into a dumb action movie. There is a ton of shaky camera and lots of dark scenes that make it borderline impossible to follow. I'm not even really sure what the purpose of some of the characters and their arcs were because they are ultimately discarded by the end. I don't think the first movie is a brilliant character drama, but this movie in particular feels like just a cameo fest of famous faces that are fully wasted. The worst part is that I actually think this movie had a lot of potential initially had it tried to just hone in on its central family instead of the military.
- trrs18 de febrero de 2026Decent sequel not as entrenched as the first but still worth a view if you enjoyed the first.
- Paul Walsh13 de febrero de 2026A very serviceable sequel with a much larger budget. There are several genuinely frightening scenes and the film is reminiscent of older movies such as The Crazies.
- Dark Forgotten10 de agosto de 2025Stupid characters making stupid choices all the time.
- Junior Reyes28 de enero de 2026From the beginning, it was a situation where I imagined myself being with them in that cabin in the countryside... BUT WHAT A MESS!!! It really made me jump off the sofa. It was incredibly brutal, incredibly fast, incredibly aggressive. There’s some great scenes here such as the opening, Don getting infected & the nightvision scene going through the London Underground & the rest of the film is entertaining with some anxiety inducing moments, but the problem lies with the story it has never sat right with me that America try to rebuild London after 6 months and the kids are so stupid and the fact they escape a quarantine zone so easily is such a plot hole, I can excuse Don making it to his wife considering he had all access & they didn’t know she was infected (however there’s a huge lack of security) but then if you can suspend your disbelief you can accept that this is how the virus comes back it works, the problem with a sequel is justifying the return of the rage virus after the ending of 28 Days Later & even the opening in Weeks makes it pretty clear the infected died off, it’s something that I’m interested in seeing how they tackle come Thursday. Ultimately this movie is more of a action thriller with horror elements, the infected are more brutal and have more screen time and it’s always a joy to watch them claim another victim but it takes away from them a bit when the charm of 28 Days Later was how brutal they come across in minimal screen time, But I also like how they keep the idea (for the most part) of they are fundamentally human (Don tanking a headshot is so stupid however), Ultimately this movie suffers from being connected to a great first movie & it will always be compared to it, it works fine as a standalone movie & is a fun watch but having the 28 tag attached to it will always hurt it because of how different this movie is ALSO CANNON OR NOT THAT ENDING IS THE BIGGEST WHAT IF OF ALL TIME
- mbcru23 de enero de 2026Definitely one of the best horror films that I’ve seen in 2026
- jfrenia21 de enero de 2026Entertaining, I liked it better then the first one but left you with a lot of questions
- thomasrogers75318 de enero de 2026It’s just not nearly as good as the first one, the story was so whatever The characters were supposed to be interesting but I honestly didn’t really find them to be interesting in any way, it’s the classic zombie movie sequel plot of, someone or their kids are immune and we need them, kill everyone else So ehh
- Jakeys24 de diciembre de 2025Great intro but it falls apart from there. Some really good aspects let down by some really shit ones. Falls far short of the original, but also not a terrible movie.
- Zbigniew Czachor14 de diciembre de 2025Nothing special...
