The Zero Theorem Ratings & Reviews
- Benjamin Rayner3 April 2026It's not 'peak' Terry Gilliam but it's still Terry Gilliam, and very much so. Think of it as a steam(punk)ier Cyberpunk version of Brazil on the verge of the Singularity but done more as a theatrical play than a feature film. That will help. Casting might have been a little of on this one but ... hey ... it's still beautifully bonkers.
- medinabello22 July 20255 stars. One of my favourite movies. Great actors and characters. Brilliant narrative with regards to work ethic and the way management controls you. Excellent story with subtle nuances. Good love angle too. Qohen is brilliant. Superbly played by Waltz. I've watched this movie 20 times because it is that good.
- Marshall Evetts20 September 2025kind of $hit actually ..
- Shmoo91089510 August 2025All attempts to find a meaning for life are unsucessful. But you don't know it - so, it can be sucessful. Art means to get you into some other reality in order to leave changes to the spectator after the experience. This movie is Art.
- randyanderson68527 July 2025I wish it would have dove deeper into the since behind the madness but good move
- Plexxor the Pretty Good27 March 2026I just stumbled across this Terry Gilliam and Christop Waltz collaboration!! It's not perfect, your girlfriend will still think it's Monty Python, so categorically refuse it as a Friday night movie but it's 100% Gilliam. The Autism, crazy sets without an inch of free space, and of course a lovely protagonist...We love it
- chrisl24771 March 2026I should love this movie. It's Cyberpunk. But I don't. It's poorly executed. Sometimes a great concept doesn't quite come together. And this is one of those times. The sets are too gawdy, the acting too off, the world not emersive enough. In other hands, it would have been great. Too bad. Two stars.
- Mister Arn22 May 2025The film's characters and vision of the future really started to draw me into the story. Unfortunately,, the story was weak; but it kept me looking for more right into the credits.
- ween855 February 2026It was a good time. The end was lack luster but made sense. Definitely recommend. Shot very well. Main actor gave it all he had. Good cast.
