Where to Watch The Muppet Show
- francescobm17 February 2026Mostly good except for a couple of things. They show the audience more than they did in the original show and more than half the audience are humans. I would understand 1 or OK maybe 2 people. But there's at least a dozen people in the audience, they outnumber the Muppets. Hopefully they fix that if the show gets picked up for series cause it was pretty bad. Kermit does not sound like Kermit. Considering Seth MacFarlane & many others can do a perfect Kermit impersonation it was a weird choice to do this for the star of the show. Also this is wildly inappropriate for children, when this used to be a family show. There's a skit that focuses on Ms Piggy supposedly meeting up with her "Lover" while she's with her BF or husband. While he goes to get a drink he apparently falls in love with someone else as well. A few minutes later on the show the guest star alludes to the fact that she could be with another man at the moment, apparently an unnamed celebrity who she confides to Kermit about, who says wait a minute isn't he married. The guest star is like 'Yeaaah, Uh-huh' with a big smile, like it's a perfectly great and normal thing to do. Really bad messaging for young kids, not sure what the creators were thinking including that. Definitely not recommended for children. It's now an adult show as it glamorizes infidelity which is a strange thing for The Muppet's to do. Such a shame as I really used to love the Muppets. Highly recommend everyone watch the original series.
