Terror by Night Ratings & Reviews
- Specter241215 February 2026Fantastic old Sherlock Holmes’s you cannot get better
- Zokkiie15 January 2026Having seen all the other Holmes films, Terror by Night is a fun change of pace with its mystery-on-a-train setup and definite Murder on the Orient Express vibes. The closed setting keeps things tense, and the short runtime means it flies by — though it honestly could’ve been a bit longer. Rathbone is great as always, Bruce is enjoyably silly, and the foggy 1940s atmosphere makes it very cozy to watch. Not the most complex case, but clever, comfy, and a lot of fun
