Live Wire Ratings & Reviews
- Rob MacKinnon1 day agoCompletely and utterly ridiculous. So very ‘90s. Canadian viewers of a certain vintage will recognize Al “King of Kensington” Waxman as Pierce Brosnan’s FBI boss.
- ርልዪረ14 April 2025I had never heard of the movie before I purchased it, but I usually enjoy Pierce Brosnans performances and the price was right. It is now one of my favorite films. It is not only a great suspense thriller, but also has a strong backstory about a couple trying to deal with shattering grief. Ben Cross's performance as the sociopathic terriorist was chilling. Ron Silver is excellent as the corrupt politician who is trying to entice the vulnerable wife out of her marriage. Brosnan and Eilbacher were heart-wrenching as the shattered couple -- I cheered when they got back together. There is nudity and sex, but it is well done and appropriate. However you can choose the edited version if you don't want to deal with it. To sum it up: this film has excellent acting by some great actors, suspence, humor, tragedy, action, mystery, thrills, and a very satisfying ending.
