Follow Alex Honnold as he attempts to become the first person to ever free solo climb Yosemite's 3,000 foot high El Capitan wall. With no ropes or safety gear, this would arguably be the greatest feat in rock climbing history.

Beautifully shot, incredible achievement. I wish there was more of a focus on the climb rather than the awkward relationships Alex sees less interested in

    Amazing documentary!
  • tomisto725 January 2026
Great. But disliked the relationships and drama stuff.. I was only here for the climbing.

Thrilling performance. What a weird dude. You can’t help but be impressed.

Incredible feat with an interestingly withdrawn character. I would quit climbing for Sanni, though.

Watching this superior athlete was really inspiring. Watching him try to understand and navigate human emotion was really interesting as well
