- JaredXIII27 September 2025Love It or Hate It; This movie is EXACTLY what you think it is!
- MrTrivet9 February 2026Frankenhooker is a grotesque B‑movie horror with absurd humor. The film has the vibe of unsettling, over-the-top American suburbs, like a Soundgarden music video; at times it almost teeters on the edge of a trip, giving space for the protagonist’s wild experiments to somehow feel justified by his family. The story of a young scientist piecing his beloved together from perfect parts is twisted, yet oddly entertaining. The special effects are obviously kitschy, but they fit the charm of B‑movie cinema. One also cannot ignore Zorro - the walking legend - whose unwavering determination to deliver pimp‑justice perfectly fits the film’s campy, over-the-top atmosphere. It's a bad movie, but I was entertained.
