Brawl in Cell Block 99 Ratings & Reviews
- Douglas Ray4 March 2025Vaughn Did Such A Convincing Job As A Convincingly Ruthless Good Guy.....I Seriously Believe He Should Have Won an Oscar..... It Shows The Failing Brutallity and Lethality Of A Prison System That Provides No Positive Rehabilitation....But Instead Is Literally A Survival of the Fittest....Vaughn Uses His Superior 6 Foot 5 Body To His Great Advantage....To Graphically Put Away Anyone Who Dares To Challenge Him....
- pipanni25 August 2025A gripping movie with Vince Vaughn as a very convincing inmate with a lot of problems to contend with. The extreme violence is not just physical but also emotional. I really liked it but it's definitely not for everyone.
- carlijustice4 days agoI didn't know that Vince Vaughn could get this dark and be so serious! This movie was ugly, and gritty, and dark. While I would never watch it again, it was well made and worth the watch once. Vince Vaughn really demonstrated strong all around solid acting skills in this that prove he is much deeper than he is usually represented as being.
- christineh6422 February 2026Good movie, but be warned that it is very very graphic. I could not watch parts of it.
- Stairwaytothestars13 August 2025Fantastic, and this movie gets down and dirty with a great performance by Vince Vaughn!
- Merlin26 January 2026A fantastic homage to the grindhouse movies of the 1970s with Vince Vaughn on form as the protagonist/anti-hero, trying to save his wife and unborn child from a seemingly impossible scenario. Visceral in parts, well paced and propped up by superbly witty but dark dialogue. Top notch.
- ChrisUndery19 February 2026Bizarre. Not what I was expecting at all
- BrickShitHouse3 February 2026Brutal fight scenes!
- Bishup8 October 2025Love this movie, the director has never let me down. Vince Vaughn's greatest performance
- John Willemsen8 September 2025Pretty good movie, I'd love to see Vince in other serious films. Some bad acting, bad plot leaps or bad fx, but nothing that bothers anyone.
- ndc6rr16 August 2025There is something gritty and gratifying watching this character demolish bad guys. The story is simple, but good. The fight scenes are fantastic. This definitely will be a cult classic. Vaughn also did a wonderful job portraying this character.
- Mason Medina6 August 2025I enjoyed it!
- Áodh ÓCaoimh13 July 2025Vaughn was amazing in the role. Gritty and unforgiving.
- craft19475 July 2025One of the best prison movies I've seen! Vaughn was made for this role, really pulls off the big, bad ass prisoner.
- Larry Wadley28 June 2025Three star.
