Baraka Ratings & Reviews
- jndala21 March 2026One of the most moving and spiritual experiences ever put to film. I once made the mistake of asking what it's about and was told it's about God. I suppose that's correct in one way of looking at it, but only in writ large sense, where we are God, and the world is the beauty that we can see in it. Although not religious or spiritual myself, the aesthetic of this film creates in me a deep empathy that could, poetically, be described as transcendental.
