Right up there with the 2001 Battlestar Series for the best sci-fi ever put on television. The setting and the characters both are incredible, fleshed out, complex, believable. The story is captivating and unique.
The space battles alone (though sadly few and infrequent) are just the pinnacle of sci-fi realism and what real space combat might look like.
This under-appreciated gem deserved a much bigger audience and the chance to completely adapt the entire book series. But at least they made it to a natural stopping point in the series and you won't feel unsatisfied by a cliffhanger if you watch.
Amazing acting from a huge ensemble cast. Fun, excitement, great visuals, deep political intrigue plots; if you've ever enjoyed a sci-fi at all, there's so many reasons you're going to love this one!
