仲間の裏切りで逮捕される直前、ダイヤモンド“ブルー・ストリーク”を建設中のビルに隠した宝石泥棒マイルズ。やがて刑務所から出所したマイルズはダイヤを回収しに向かうが、そこは何とロス市警になっていた。宝石を手に入れるため、マイルズは刑事を装って警察署に潜入するが、彼の経験と知識は次々と事件を解決していってしまう。そしてついには麻薬組織を相手にした大捕物に借り出されることに…。
