Although well produced and acted, the true purpose of the movie is to inflict emotional terror and fear at a deep and traumatizing level. Typical Hollywood tripe, making a white father to be the vilest of villains.
Don’t waste your time, unless you want to have disturbed dreams and permanently traumatized kids.
