My quick rating - 5.0/10. Not really sure why this one got totally ripped. It doesn't redefine slasher flicks in the slightest but it does go back to Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 type "family" business. This time the "family" stalks young adults around in a corn maze during Halloween to not just kill, but skin them. And beyond that, find the magic guy/girl that has the special ingredient to make their makeup that keeps people young. Yep, it is all a money-making scam, not just a bunch of whackos with small chainsaws (i give a point for actually using an everyday-sized chainsaw, not some monstrosity with a 6-foot blade lol) The kiddos act accordingly, basically stupid with each representing someone you recall from high school. The kills come in at a steady pace and don't disappoint in the gore department so make sure you prioritize the order you want them snuffed out. By the time the credits rolled, I wasn't pissed I watched it. Not bad for what it was and by the end I could see they weren't done with this story. Onto Fear Pharm 2.
