A team of navy personnel stationed at a temporary base at the bottom of the ocean and tasked with setting up nuclear missiles discovers a huge underwater cavern which houses a giant prehistoric creature.

So so action/horror movie about a US deep sea base being attacked by an unknown 10 metre long creature. Pace is slow, it takes over an hour to see the monster and even then it is nothing special. Generally uninteresting characters spouting a lot of boring dialogue. Director Sean S Cunningham attempts to re-work the famous jump scare at the end of his slasher classic "Friday the 13th" but it is far less effective. Good that metric measurements are used and not imperial ones. Couple of gory scenes but that's it.
