Took me a moment to figure out if Jack Quaid and Malin Akerman were supposed to be together or nah… The answer is “nah”
Jeffrey Dean Morgan has such interesting tastes in the roles he takes lmao
Some low hanging fruit comedically and couldn’t help but feel like it trivializes mental illness a bit. I get that it’s meant to show how others weaponize it but it makes some of the “actual” portrayals of mental illness feel disingenuous.
Some of the writing felt…streamlined? And just very weak.
I have seen that exact same hair dye joke scene with the exact same beats and acting somewhere else but I can’t remember exactly where. Anyways…felt hacky.
Same “outcasts help each other” theme you’ve seen a million times!
Calling the bluff motif was cute lol well I enjoyed it more until they explicitly referenced it for a third time smh
Okay there are officially too many recurring themes and ideas lol it’s way too “full circle”
