Is it a B-reel? For sure. But it's one of those B-reels where if it had A-reel money, it could be a major triumph. I read this movie had a budget of just $6.6M. If true, this movie is IMPRESSIVE.
I really enjoyed it! Fun genre mashup of classic hooks. Cool practical effects on the aliens. Yeah, I'm not sure what the folks leaving harsh reviews expected...but... maybe the movies they make will be better...🫢 Glad I watched it. I put this on the shelf with that movie Blood Vessel.
