Halloween Ends

Four years after the events of Halloween in 2018, Laurie has decided to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life. But when a young man is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control, once and for all.
If you were hoping for a thrilling, satisfying end to the saga, this ain’t it. The pacing drags, Michael Myers feels like a side character in his own movie, and the tone is all over the place. Honestly, the only good moment was when the film did us all a favor and killed off that one incredibly annoying character early on. Too bad they didn’t do the same for the other irritating one lurking around the rest of the runtime (and I, of course, am not referring to Michael). Everything after that? Just a slow shuffle toward the credits.
