There was something magical about flipping through Sky Channel in those days.
Before streaming, before algorithms, you just stumbled onto things and Morons from Outer Space was one of those glorious accidents.
I remember the fuzzy signal, the slightly off-color saturation and that unmistakable British absurdity that made it feel like Monty Python had crash-landed in a sci-fi B-movie.
Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones were already familiar faces, but here they leaned fully into the ridiculous.
It wasn’t a blockbuster. It wasn’t polished, but it was weird, and that made it memorable.
