A publishing executive is visited and bitten by a woman and starts exhibiting erratic behavior. He pushes his secretary to extremes as he tries to come to terms with his delusions. The woman continues to visit and as his madness deepens, it begins to look as if some of the events he's experiencing may be hallucinations.

You ever watch viral clips of a film and they're so batshit insane you expect them to be more tame when taken in context? Well Vampire's Kiss is such just as preposterous when imbibed as a whole as are the crazy snippets of Cage.
It's kind of slow and and difficult to follow in the beginning as it's unfolding this terrible yet undeniably entertaining M. Night like twist. But it completely satiates my urge to see Cage in a devout exhibition of German expressionism and answers a question I didn't even know I had until I witnessed it...Giving glimpses of perhaps how an American Psycho led Cage would have panned out. Cage is so volatile and relentlessly unpredictable that by the time the plot action ramps up halfway through you'll stop caring about the quality of the vehicle altogether.
