Vlamis the air conditioning king of Chicago!
I love a good breakfast club reference and this movie has that all over the place. It has that John Hughes feel to it and I’m obsessed. I love how this was shot! The classic zoom in shots were perfect.
Odessa A’zion played Kennedy and she is all of us in this coming of age dramady. She is struggling with who she was and who she wants to be . I loved all the scenes with the cast running havoc through the pools and houses. But I really adored Michael and Kennedy’s relationship towards the end. Not only is he a hot AC guy from Chicago, but he has words of wisdom. Nothing matters and maybe that’s the point, we want what we want, right now!
The director Sam Hayes said “this film is about learning to let go and be exactly who you are right now.” Amazing message and a beautiful coming-of-age film. I loved every second of it.
Odessa has a voice of an angel.
