Richard Kuklinski gioca bene a biliardo, copia pellicole pornografiche, ha una fidanzata discreta e un segreto terribile, affondato in un'infanzia 'bastonata'. Per questa ragione ha sviluppato una personalità dissociata-associata che lo spinge a uccidere. Dopo il matrimonio con Debbie e l'assassinio di un suo sedicente ex, Richard viene assoldato come sicario da Roy Demeo, delinquente organizzato che ne intuisce la straordinaria imperturbabilità. Letale e metodico, abbatte criminali e innocenti sui marciapiedi di New York, accomoda la famiglia nel New Jersey e ne accumula la 'fortuna' e la pesante eredità. Padre di due bambine, a cui riserva il suo lato migliore, Richard incanala negli omicidi la sua follia fino al giorno del congedo per 'cattiva condotta'...

The movie is a hard look at cold emotionless sociopath and killer. We are outsider's looking into Kuklinski life, but not into his thoughts. He's like a wild animal, unpredictable except in his violent reactions. Kukinski loved his family and the rest of the world was his prey. While some might see this lack of insight into Kuklinski as a flaw, I enjoyed it.
Was surprised by how much I liked this movie, it's not my normal fare.

He's like a wild animal, unpredictable except in his violent reactions. Kukinski loved his family and the rest of the world was his prey. While some might see this lack of insight into Kuklinski as a flaw, I enjoyed it.
Was surprised by how much I liked this movie, it's not my normal fare.
