I can't understand the level of hate this movie receives. While it does tend to stay on the "run of the mill" side of zombie movies, nothing really falls too short to keep it from being an enjoyable movie. There are plenty of cliches found along the experience but it makes valiant attempts to try and add unique spins along the way. The effects didn't draw too much away from the action, but, if you're going into this movie expecting Resident Evil or the Walking Dead, you're setting yourself up for failure. The action and gunplay seems to stay fairly accurate, and there doesn't seem to be an excess of gunfire staying true to the idea of ammo shortage during an event such as this. The runtime sat well, leaving the end credits rolling before it had over stayed it's welcome. In a world of absolutely terrible b-movies, this stands heads over its current competition. It's worth the watch if you have the time or are a fan of zombie movies. I would take the hate with a grain of sale and give it a chance.
