After you've gone is a show about a divorced dad of two who returns to the family home to look after his children after his ex wife decides to go to Africa to assist with a charity. She does not fully trust Jimmy to do his fatherly duties so gets her mother Diana to keep an eye on things. Despite being constantly belittled and employing a annoying assistant in his job as a builder Jimmy keeps going. In one episode he is informed that he is not spending enough time with his son and he responds by teaching him how to demolish the living room wall. His daughter Molly takes advantage of the constant phycological warfare between her gran and Dad and buys naughty clothes and goes to parties. Diana is nosey and prides herself on being superior but is often proven wrong. Overall a very funny show.
