One of the best period shows that ever was. Impossible not to fall in love with the romanticism of the time. It can be criticised for perhaps over-encumbering itself with every scandal you'd ever heard of, but a show without notable events is hardly a show. That being said, I could watch this cast sit around and recount the uneventfulness of their day and still find myself engrossed with them.
