When Avengers Endgame first came out it was like nothing we had EVER seen before in a superhero movie. The scope was huge, the stakes higher than they had ever been before. Marvel Studios gave us the most frightening and all powerful villain ever in Thanos. The film was grandiose and a perfect sendoff for not just the superheroes and villains of the film, but also the entire Marvel cinematic universe. If only it had ended there the movie however, kills off many fan-favorite characters, and despite having an amazing cultural impact at the time, the film has actually gone onto cripple the Marvel cinematic universe to such a degree that they have yet to recover from. As a concluding chapter, the film does its job, however as a sequel, it severely handicapped the franchise by leaving behind less than memorable characters to carry on the torch for the franchise.
