Jerry Fletcher är övertygad om att han är offer för en sammansvärjning. Att okända krafter i det tysta styr världen med järnhand. Han ger ut ett nyhetsbrev där alla hans vansinniga teorier presenteras för likasinnade. Jerry plågas av minnesbilder som är så verkliga att han är övertygad om att han upplevt dem tidigare i sitt liv. Han försöker få juristen Alice Sutton att intressera sig för hans märkliga berättelse, men hon vill inte veta av honom. Plötsligt inser hon att en av Jerrys konspirationsteorier faktiskt kan vara sann. En skrämmande och livsfarlig upptäckt...

I used to love this movie but feel like as Ive aged my expectations are a little more than they were. Its still has a great cast with good acting but I feel like it was a little rushed and slightly jumbled up in its own story. I guess that could be because our boy Mel is a little jumbled up himself but it just didnt feel right. I enjoyed it but dont think it needs to be placed on the pedestal I had it on through my teen years.
