Timeless show that I was lucky enough to catch on late night TV as child growing up in the 80's / early 90s in Australia. I was taught lessons from this show that I needed, lessons the new Trek seems to have forgot, such as judge a person by the content of their character and not try to fill diversity quotas for the sake of it - that's racism and sexism in practice and Picard would've given a powerful eloquent speech about why that is wrong, no matter how much virtue signaling you perform.
